Guys, i have a question 

I received an email from NVC today stating immigrant visa appointment cancelled (please read attached pic)

but I haven’t received any email from them earlier regarding any appointment booked

what am I supposed to do?

Search the forum , I'm pretty sure I've seen others post receiving similar emails whilst waiting for their interview, I think it's a system glitch.

August 24 submission of documents, applicant's docs reviewed today (14 Nov) with RFE (birth certificate and police clearance). My docs (petitioner's) still not reviewed.

sorry to hear you got a RFE, hope you get it sorted quickly and the backlog clears to allow you to get it reviewed again sooner. 
its interesting: they've sent you the review feedback on a Sunday, (if they're working weekends then it's a positive for clearing the backlog),  and they haven't reviewed all of your documents, previous experience is that they go through all the documents and either approve / reject them all and then send RFE for rejections or anything additional that is needed.

May i know what was the issue with Birth Certificate and Police clearance certificate?

My submission date is Aug 27...Hoping to get it reviewed this week.

Just got DQ'd 30 minutes ago! Submission date was Aug 25th.

Yes they are reviewing documents sent on Aug 18th
