Thought I'd create this thread for those who submitted files to the NVC in August since I couldn't find one

My date of submission is 8/22

As of 9/7 they're reviewing cases received on 6/29

It's been going a bit faster the past couple of weeks so hopefully we hear something soon *fingers crossed*

Yay thanks for this! I had to resubmit so my date is Aug 5th. Hopefully this time no issues and DQ! I read in another thread someone got DQ from a July 8th submission. Maybe they are being cautious with their dates and actually further ahead for once. (I can dream!!)

So does that mean thier review dates are not accurate and they can move ahead of what they post online?

Yea they can pretty much post whatever they want. They were so behind for so long so hopefully now they are just being cautious of the timeline they post. I saw someone get DQ from July 14th! So Mondays update should be interesting!

My petitioner  uploaded only 4 pages of the AOS instead of 10 pages  due to  large file size . He actually didn’t know he could compress the file. He just informed me .We submitted on 27th August since NVC has not yet reviewed can he compress the file size  of the 10 pages AOS  and upload the right AOS on optional document now  and add a note that the first AOS was not complete  due to file size so this is the complete AOS  or NVC will still reject?

Honestly I'm not sure but I would definitely upload the correct amount of pages. Just be aware every time you resubmit you're pushed to the back of the line. They will absolutely request all the pages when they get around to reviewing it. So if it was me I'd take the chance and upload the correct documents now versus waiting another possibly 6 weeks just for them to tell you that you need it. I THINK it's possible to remove/delete documents in CEAC. If not definitely add a note letting them know what you added/corrected. Good luck!!
