You'll do fine on the interview, just relax and pretend youre meeting a friend to talk about your relationship.

Unfortunate that people have to wait months for an interview which lasts sometimes a few minutes. Tons of tax dollars and time wasted. Not really sure who comes up with these rules.

Perfectly natural to feel nervous, especially at this stage of the visa process, the one that will seal the deal, but remember, confidence is key!  Go in there, head up, be truthful and you will do fine!

We are approved. I'm crying as I type this. We waited so long for this, so many months of waiting, so many months of anxiety, it's all come to a sweet end. 

The interview went really well as everyone commented.it was very simple. Thank you each and everyone of you who replied to this post. Your words meant a lot to me. Thank you once again.

These visas are self-funded. In addition, there have been more than a million I-130s in the pipeline at any one time since early 2016.  I haven't seen much improvement in the length of the queue.  The pandemic just added to an already-backlogged queue at USCIS, NVC, and every consulate.  It's a mess with no solution in sight.

I have seen one attorney say that the CURRENT state department is allowing K-1 cases to expire at the consulate rather than extending them......a pretty horrible way to reduce the backlog of K-1s.
