Just wanted to update my fellow 'adjusters':

We had our interview last Tuesday and were recommended for approval. The card should arrive in the mail this week :dance:

It's been a long and difficult journey but now we can finally look to some normalcy in our lives again. This forum has been an invaluable resource to us!

Quick update to everyone, I just got a notification from USCIS saying that my EAD has been approved and a new card is being produced, finally!!!

Hi everyone! Anyone here with I-485 AOS field office in Santa Ana? I have my biometrics done in August 12 and my case has been stuck "case is ready to schedule an interview" and I have not heard anything yet. I have my EAD and AP expedited and got my combo card on 21 Oct. But they did not expedite my I-485 because apparently my case is within processing time. 

 

Should I try and expedite my AOS application?

I have not heard about the possibility to request an expedite to your AOS application. Maybe someone else can confirm this but I'd probably just be happy about the Combo Card and your newfound rights to work and travel and use those. :)

It's the combo card!

 

The i131 status will update later (week later or so) to case closed or it will never update.

I just received my EAD update that a new card is being produced! I was also wondering the same question about my AP not updating and wanting to make sure it would be a combo card. Does anyone know if it works to ask Emma to confirm?

Yay!

 

It's a combo card. Today for me both work permit and travel permit updated to case was approved. 

 

Sometimes the i131 does not update, it's still a combo card if you filed them together.
