Hello all I'm a 25 year old guy from South Florida. To make a long story short, I met the love of my life on a year long trip that I ended taking to stay in China. I was born, and bred in the states. Ironically enough , she's from a little Central American country known as El Salvador, we fell in love, and shortly after I ended proposing to her this year. Now I recently got back to the states, and I went back to school to start our future together. I own a 15k truck, and I make around 13$ an hour. I'm currently finishing my first year back at college. I'm sure I don't make the poverty guidelines, so I asked my wealthy aunt, and uncle if they'd sponsor me, and her. They make roughly 100k each, yearly, and they gladly accepted, since they had helped a friend a long time ago bring their spouse. So here's the catch, I've printed the form 129 F, and I'm a little lost as to what to do next, in terms of mailing, what's the address, and what do I include in this form, and what are the chances, that we get approved if we do everything correctly. So if theirs anyone willing to make friends with me who have experience in this, that'd be much obliged. We have no kids, and are just start our futures togethers. Lawyers are waaaaaaaaaay too expensive so any help is appreciated. My gmail is(removed)

I'm fairly sure that if you post after someone it removes the ability to edit the post. Maybe this is different for OP but it's true for commenters. Also the ability to not delete posts on this site is a bit strange to me.

Hit the "report" button and ask one of the mods to remove your personnal information.

I am not well versed with K-1s. Sit tight. Others will come in and chime

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.

I have reported it a mod can edit.

Will she be staying in China, is she resident there or returning home?

My now-husband and I successfully completed our K1 application by using the guide (posted by @Lucky Cat) on this forum and are now married and living together in the US. It's fairly self explanatory, but just ask questions if you get stuck!

Welcome to VJ!

On top of all the guides available, please utilize the search bar at the top right of the screen for any questions you may have. K1 is a very popular category and there are loads of people who probably have had similar questions that you will have. Before starting a new thread, I'd exhaust every option available to you for research.

Another thing to keep in mind is that the more information you give when you do ask questions, usually the better answers you'll get.

This includes filling in your timeline, so that people can easily know where you are in your journey without you having to tell them. It also helps everyone on the site with statistics, and giving you/others an idea of how long things are taking.

This is a DIY site, so you've come to the right place if you don't want to use a lawyer. A typical K1 is certainly doable without one.

Good luck on your journey!

👐

Patience......patience.

I believe members can edit comments for 10 minutes after posting.  I agree that adding that feature might be helpful.
