Our Journey:

Feb 18th, 2021: Package sent, including: I-130 + I-130A, I-485 + I944 + I-693 + I-864, I-765) and I-131 through USPS

Feb 24th, 2021: USCIS received the package

Apr 5th, 2021: Package rejected, received back (Payment issue)

Apr 6th, 2021: Resent Package through USPS

Apr 7th, 2021: USCIS received the package @ Chicago Lockbox

May 21st, 2021: Checks cashed

May 23rd, 2021: Received the Text Messages with receipt number 

July 2nd, 2021: I-693 Deficiency Notice Received

July 8th, 2021: Expedite Request Received

July 16th, 2021: Received Fingerprint Appointment Letter

August 6th, 2021: Fingerprints Taken

August 9th, 2021: Changed of Address request AR-11online (Beneficiary) and filed I-865 Address Change of my husband (Sponsor)

August 13th, 2021: Confirmation mail: Case is Ready to Be Scheduled for An Interview

November 17th, 2021: EAD Delivered

March 15th, 2022: Interview Scheduled

April 21th, 2022: Interview / New Card Being Produced

April 22th, 2022: Case Was Approved

 I may be wrong but from what I understood they're waiving them for EAD renewal applicants so I'm not sure if it would apply to i-485 and people applying for EAD the first time.

I don't think "waived" is the word. I think some people who have given biometrics before example Asylum,DACA etc may have their biometrics reused.

Finally got our NOAs in the mail today. USPS is slow...

 

One oddity is that the A-Number on the notices is new. I already had an A-Number, which I included on all the forms we submitted. But it seems that they assigned me a new one. Anyone else experienced this?

2023-07-19: I-751 package delivered to Phoenix Lockbox via UPS

2023-07-21: Credit card authorized by Phoenix Lockbox

2023-07-24: Text and email notifications received with IOE receipt number

2023-07-27: I-797 48-month extension letter received (postmarked 2023-07-25)

Congrats! So happy for you! I already gave up on mine, thinking I will never receive it lol! I dont know how is it possible some to receive it for 3 weeks and some for 5 or 6, but eventually comes I guess!

Thanks - that was my situation too, I got an A-Number from F-1 OPT around 10 years ago. Hopefully it won't complicate things...

Check cashed and text messages received. 

Just to give others the timeline; I mailed the AOS package on 04-28-2021. Received texts on 05-28-2021.

Since the AOS process is something new, what happens now?
