It’s an interesting question. To me “bald” would be someone whose hair will not grow back. If he shaves his head to be bald by choice then I think he should select the color that his hair would grow back because he may decide tomorrow never to shave his head again.

Thst said, I selected “black” as my hair color on my recent passport application. But my natural hair is brown but mostly gray now (or Arctic Blonde, as I prefer to call it). I color it black every 4 weeks. I will never allow the natural Arctic Blonde to show so I feel it’s ok to state “black”. No one has seen me with anything other than black hair for 20 years.

I have made a vow to myself that not an Arctic Blonde hair will be seen on my head until I’m 65. But I may change my mind.

My husband has pink streaks in his hair. I’ve never seen that as an option on a form. Understandably...

I think it would be his natural colour if shaved... unless of course it doesn’t grown back and then state NA

Thanks everyone. Putting "N/A" doesn't really appear to be an option. There is an "Other/ Unknown" option which seems weird to select for hair color, unless perhaps the preferred color is a nonstandard color like pink or blue!!!
