Hi guys, I am currently finishing the form I684 and I have a question about the signature. Can I e-sign?

The first time I did the form I printed it out and scanned all the pages but then the file was too heavy, I then downloaded adobe and did it all on the computer but I am confused about the signature part.

Help!!!

If you want to make the file size smaller and you are good enough with technology, you could scan only the signature page and insert it into the proper place on the (non-scanned) PDF.

So I have the two PDF'S the long one and the one with the signature. How can I merge them?

Print both PDFs then scan the copier to version as a new single pdf

There are a number of programs that do that (I used Acrobat Professional), but you might be able to do it using these online tools:

1) https://www.adobe.com/acrobat/online/merge-pdf.html

2) https://www.adobe.com/acrobat/online/rearrange-pdf.html

Link #1 should allow you to combine the two files. Then link #2 should let you delete the page without the signature from the "long" form and move the signed/scanned page into its place.

Adobe also has a free tool to compress PDFs:

https://www.adobe.com/acrobat/online/compress-pdf.html

Just remember to take a look at any PDF you compress to make sure that everything is still readable and the quality hasn't been degraded too much.

Yes, but for most situations the REAL solution is to scan at a lower resolution to begin with.
