I feel like giving up. It's like we're never going to hear anything. I'm getting ready to fly back overseas to see my fiancé. I guess this will be our life. Me flying back and forth as ling as  I can afford it. Yeesh. Wish I could just sneak him over the border. This  has been the most frustrating thing I have ever dealt with. How do you guys cope? I've about given up. 😕

Received the email from NVC today, but still no change on what the USCIS case status says (still "Case Received"). Anything to worry about there? Also, do I wait for the embassy to contact me regarding the interview now, and go from there?

If possible id probably call USCIS about this.. I wouldn't just wait, considering as far as I know (Please if this is wrong someone correct and guide OP to what they can do!) you need your NOA2 notice

Id love to say I have some great ways to cope but everyday is definitely hard. Keeping oneself busy does help but only to a certain extent.. It is extremely hard and crushing mentally

Calling USCIS is so useless tho they would just check the inquiry date and tell you your case is processing “normally”. I tried to request to speak to tier 2 officer but they just sent a request and told me I would get a response within 30 days… any suggestions to get USCIS to respond and deal with the case? Or how to get a hold of a tier 2 officer right away on the phone call?

Did they give you your case number? You can book your medical now actually. The embassy will email your petitioner about the instructions on how to proceed once they receive the petition from NVC.

Yes got a case number starting with DBL for the NVC tracker. I'm a bit confused on what I should be doing. I also noticed that you must enter the country within 6 months of the medical being taken, so a little hesitant with that, no idea how long it will take to get an interview. Should I book the medical directly with the doctor? Thanks for the reply.

When I check the case status on https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx, I get IN TRANSIT and then:  Your case is in transit to the Consular Section. Your interview date was provided to you by the National Visa Center.

I hope you’ll hear soon 😔 I guess you can inquire soon? I figured Memorial Day weekend will mess with their productivity. I hope there will be more updates by end of the day.

My inquiry date is tomorrow but I'm with @tiredofwaiting112. They will probably give me some generic reply and not doing anything.

My group didn’t get NO attention for the entire last week and barely the last 2 days either I was feeling hopeless too, but I feel your pain and hopelessness on the situation :( don’t lose hope I know is hard but eventually in a month or 2 months maximum I think they’ll get around to all the April cases!
