Got medical done today, Dr. was excellent, quick services!

But lady on reception said my ‘E-Medical’ was not active yet, so Dr. Is going to send it via email to embassy. It’s cuz I registered for Courier service on Sunday? Don’t know if that matters…

Hope all will be good, but there should be no difference…he said for Fiancée/spouse visa they do it this way , but for family immigration E-medical thing is done…

will that matter?

I found this: Useful

https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx

What Does My CEAC Visa Status Mean?

Applicants can visit the CEAC to check their immigration visa status. The codes below indicate the applicant’s immigration progress.

No Status

  • No Status indicates there is no update available on the petition.

At NVC

  • At NVC status indicates the application has been received by the National Visa Center, but the agency has not started processing it.

In Transit

  • In Transit status indicates your case is being sent to a U.S. embassy or consulate. Once the embassy receives the application, applicants will receive an appointment letter.

Ready

  • Ready status indicates the application has been sent to a U.S. embassy or consulate. The applicant shall receive an appointment for an in-person interview or to collect fingerprints.

Issued

  • Issued status indicates the application is approved after a successful interview.

Refused

  • Refused status indicates the application is rejected. For detailed information, contact the embassy that conducted your interview or the USCIS.

Administrative Processing

  • Administrative Processing status indicates additional review is required of the application. Further review may take up to 60 days. If additional documents are required, the embassy or consulate will contact the applicant.

Expired

  • Expired status indicates an applicant’s immigrant visa has been cancelled.

Could you please share the exact link where you got the descriptions?  It's not from the CEAC page you linked above.

Thanks for the link.  As I suspected, it didn't come from an official source as some status descriptions are not accurate --

A case may remain on "At NVC" status even after NVC has already completed document review and is just waiting for an interview slot to open up at the consulate.  It does not mean that NVC has not started processing the case.

Some cases will not be automatically given an interview appointment when the status turns to "Ready".  Some consulates require the visa applicant to book an interview schedule themselves.  There are reports here on VJ of people who wasted months waiting for their interview schedule after being misled that they will automatically receive an appointment letter.

"Refused" status does not necessarily mean rejected or denied.  A case may be set to "Refused" temporarily, pending submission of additional requirements.  There are many posts here from members who panic that their visa application was rejected after being misled about what "Refused" status means.  Also, there was a DOS memo in 2020 that set the practice of using "Refused" status for cases under administrative processing.  Some consulates have continued with that practice.  https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/visas-news-archive/visas-ceac-case-status-change.html

There is no guaranteed timeframe for administrative processing.  No such thing as "up to 60 days".  AP could take many months.  In some cases, even years.  The official DOS page on AP states that the duration will vary based on the individual circumstances of each case and does not provide any time limit -- https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/administrative-processing-information.html
