Hi Guys,I got my IL last week. Was busy getting my medicals appointment. Date April 26th 2022.I hope and wish rest of the folks in this group will also get it quickly.

Thanks. I believe you and @jaypatel66@yahoo. have the interview on the same day. All the very best. If you don’t mind, could you share if you took flu shot earlier this year? I don't think they look at flu shot during Medicals.All they do is your physical exam, check the Covid -19 vaccination details and X-ray. Depending upon ur age u might be exempted from Blood work.TDAP, Rubella and Varcella will be checked.

I have a question, are you planning on resubmitting DS-260? Ours expires on April 30th, 2022. Not sure if we're supposed to resubmit it or not. Or maybe they'll ask us to resubmit when we get the IL? 

 

Can anyone who's gotten the IL confirm if they asked you to resubmit DS-260?

Received another 60 day notice email, hopefully this would be the last one. If anyone received IL in April for May interviews, please share. Thanks.

@aron have you received IL? March report is out and shows Montreal issued 60 F3 visas last month so hoping they will continue at the same pace in April-May.

@cyyz2000 my DS260 is expiring on April 30 as well. I have posted a question on NVC website (AskNVC) but doubt that I will have a response anytime soon as they are currently responding to Feb 2022 questions. If I find out anything, I will share. Please keep me posted if you get any useful info as well, thanks.

Hi @NGJ, thanks for your message. I asked around in a group chat that I'm in with other F3 applicants on Telegram, and apparently once you're DQ'd, they have an "indefinite period of validity". I would think that if Montreal wants to update anything, they would probably ask us at the time we get our interviews letters. I think it's still good practice to take updated copies of your affidavits of support (we're planning on doing that just in case), in addition to all original copies. 

 

@ Everyone else who got their IL, kindly let us know if your letter says anything about bringing updated DS-260s or affidavits to the interview.  

 

Also, someone in this group chat I'm in got their interview letter today (DQ April 2020).

Thanks, that’s good to know. Will continue to monitor feedback from others in coming weeks. Someone from F2 thread got IL with DQ mid May 2020, here is the tracking sheet that @Blueeyes1989 has been maintaining.

Guys, first of all thanks each and everyone on the support you all showed on this Thread.

First of all, my apologies to each and everyone on my fat fingerings on the date. I had my interview on April 25th @MOntral consulate at 10AM.Went there at 930AM.

1. Reception lady took my passport and validated the courier registration and said we are good.
2. Then the security guys ran checks and asked us to remove the Samsung watch and put in the locker. Hand bags are allowed.
3. Then asked us to go tot he first floor.
4. Here comes the actual thing. I was called at the window 3 at 1030AM and the lady was so nice to go over the docs that i have submitted. They asked my wife docs who is principal applicant and as her mom is sponsoring asked where she lives and how old she is .
5. Then she asked if her mom has tax docs and we told her she is home maker and we can support our selves with our savings as i and my wife work in IT. They asked my W2 for the last 2 yrs.
6. They looked at our PC which we gave in 2020 and they are expired as it is valid for an yr only. she wrote on a paper that they are expired as my wife was able to see through the window.
7. My wife told we have applied in 2021 and gave the ones which a recent and will expire in May end. Heard a family next to us who had expired PCC and asked them to get the new ones. So please, please take the latest and greatest ones. If they will ask u to submit the updated ones, they will have a query on your case.
8. Then we were asked to go back and wait fr the interview. In 15 min got a call to go to Window 1.
9. The officer went through my visas and my H1B history and my wife's dependent and was checking on the fly. He asked where i work and pulled my nexus card details. Once he got all the details he did tell that he will approve case upon all the details received. He told things will be good.
10. So with that said i received my passport with my Visa stamped .In 2days after my interview i completed my Jrny. Going to the border from Calgary to get my entry done and then i should be good.

My Advice

• Have all the originals of the docs that you uploaded.
• Have all your financial docs and sponsors financial docs.
• Be clear with your answer.
• Dress well and it will be good. Nice people.
• Good luck to each and everyone of you and i hope all of you will have the same experience i had.
