  1. @Waiting_ever Thanks. Have you received email or tracking number already? I understand you also had your interview this Monday.
  2. Can anyone who completed interview in July or August share their experience with courier service? When did you get email I.e. c days after the interview day? Did email have a tracking number or simply an instructions to pick up passports? Thank you all in advance.
  3. I used the Pre Interview Checklist on https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/Supplements/Supplements_by_Post/MTL-Montreal.html#interview_guidelines
  4. It was smooth, no need to stress.Staff was friendly. Just make sure you take all documents listed on the checklist. In our case, questions they asked were pretty much from DS260 (address, date of birth, last trip, etc.)
  5. Hello Everyone, we have completed and cleared our interview. Thank you for sharing your status updates and experiences which made this long journey easier. All the best to those in queue!
  6. It is valid for one year only as per https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/Supplements/Supplements_by_Post/MTL-Montreal.html ”f you are older than 16 years of age: The original police certificate from your country of current residence, any countries where you lived for more than 12 months, and any country where you have been arrested. If you previously submitted a police certifciate to NVC, it is more than one (1) year old, and you still live in that country, you must obtain and bring a more recent police certificate to your visa interview as the one you previously submitted will have expired. You can find information on when police certificates are required and how to get them on our website.”
  7. Hi everyone, can Canadian citizen work remotely for a Canadian company from the US as a permanent resident? Is there an issues with regards to work permit or taxes?
  8. Not sure what letter you are referring to but Montreal consulate has info on doctors in ON that are qualified to perform medical checks for immigration process. Check this out as an example to see all you need to prep for medical exam: https://immigrationphysician.ca
  9. Hello, We are in Ontario, Canada and expecting to get family immigration in next two months. After the interview and once we receive passports back with visa stamps- can we drive across the border to activate the immigration visa and return to ON the same day to pick up our stuff from the storage (via Uhaul) and re-enter the US same or next day? I am looking for feedback from anyone on this Forum who has done something similar. Is this allowed or did you have any problems at the border? Thanks.
