More Information.

She (USC) met my sister during the second visit, uploaded their photo together and pics of 3 of us together. USC met my parents on third visit before the wedding - pics of them and all of us together before wedding, during and after wedding, my sister was also at the wedding. There is big age difference but it didn't seem to matter during our K1 process so I suppose it shouldn't matter now.

USC added me to her power bill but new bill with both our names on it hasn't come in yet, we don't want to wait till then.

We don't know how to add me as co-owner of her house without spending a fortune (we assume it would cost a lot to have the new deed done by a lawyer).

Oh I see. we never thought of it that way. Will do that. Thank you 🙂

It's important you start thinking "that way", meaning consider everything in the light of how it might look like the Nigerian spouse is in the relationship exclusively to obtain a US immigration benefit.  For example, you mention property jointly owned (presumably in Nigeria).  If this is property previously owned only by the beneficiary, that's great, but document it in such a way that it's obvious they added YOU as a co-owner rather than you bought the property.

Thank you for your contribution. It is a family land given to my dad a long time ago for which he paid 5,000NGN back then. He gave it to me in 2007 as his only son and I started construction on it in 2013, I met my USC spouse in 2016.

As for the above, I don't think I need to document anything to look a particular way, technically that would be a lie. Land and buildings on it belonged to me prior to marriage, I added my partner as a co-owner after we married, honest and simple.

Of course you don't contrive a dishonest way of documenting something.  Now that you have explained, the dates on the documents will make it clear you added her as a co-owner.  That's great from your side, but the any questions of bona fides are really about her side, not yours.  Sounds like you're both of Nigerian heritage.  That helps a lot.  In that case, concentrate on showing time spent together in person, rather than financial dealings.  Maybe add a letter that explains how you met, how the relationship developed, and why you decided to marry.

Yes, I added her as co-owner.

My wife is White.

She's visited 3 times, first time was just us.

Second time she met my sister (lives and works in Lagos) so it was easy. Third time she met my parents. She will be here again for my visa interview, we plan to go to my hometown and visit my parent. Of course we will have pics of that for the interview.

We will add stuff from her side for bona fides at NVC stage.

As for the letter, we already filed. Hoping for the best now.

OK.  That changes everything.  I had assumed you were the US Citizen and your wife was Nigerian.  It's a natural assumption as filing the petition is the responsibility of the US Citizen.

Three visits is very positive but you don't mention how long the visits are.  On which visit did the marriage occur.  What are your ages?
