Hello everyone,

We filed our I-130 on October 10th, 2020.

We sent our package to the Chicago lockbox because I had to file for I-485 (change of status) concurrently. We also sent I-765 ( employment authorization request) and I-131 (travel authorization request).

No NOA yet.

When did you file? Did you only file for i-130 or filed for i-485 too? Did you get any updates?

I know, I am not worried :)

People in the September 2020 i-130 filling club got their NOA's super fast, so I was just asking if anyone was in the same position.

It's different for everybody and there are so many factors included.

Applied for I-130 on 5th of October and it was assigned to the Nebraska office. We received our paper NOA in Scotland on the 10th. Quicker than our national mail service!

Did you file online or via mail?

Hey Everyone,

My wife and I filed online yesterday, October 28th, for the I-130 (CR-1). We were immediately assigned to the Nebraska Service Center.

We have a receipt number/case number and got an email with the payment receipt. Is this the NOA1, or should we look out for a receipt in the mail?

Thanks and excited to hear about everyone's journeys! Looking forward to supporting each other throughout this process.

We found out that we were able to download the NOA1 directly from the website, and I believe they also sent one to our address, which will take some time.

Hi!

Why was this moved to progress report adjustment of status? It's a post for I-130 fillers.

I did file for I-485 concurrently, but I wouldn't be filing for I-485 if we weren't  filing I-130, most of the other fillers didn't file for I-485, just I-130.

Can this be moved back to IR-1/CR-1 Progress Reports, please ?
