N400: No Biometric appointment letter?

Hi, 

So I applied N400 on Oct 1 and my case completion date shows 3 months, but meanwhile its been 14 days i didn't receive any letter for biometric appointment. This gave me idea how accurate the case completion time is? Can you please tell me when i am expecting to get the biometric letter. Appreciate your help thanks

3 months would be amazing but unfortunately I think that is highly unrealistic. I haven't seen any case completion in 3 months (not saying I've seen it all). Did you file online? If so you will most likely receive your biometrics appointment date via online before the paper copy. You chan check the current processing times on the USCIS website. I am unsure which service center you would be at but if you are in NYC the wait time is 17-33 months. https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/ Also, when we filed we were given an estimated wait time but every few months it changed. Now that we are past what we were originally quoted the website says something like we are taking longer to process your case than expected . Don't forget there are many external factors that come in to play such as if there are cut in work force or office closings.

Well, I applied 5 months and a half ago and still waiting for the biometric appointment. I guess you have to be more patient.

I don’t know why it can say completion in 3 months. I applied In April and haven’t received biometrics yet. A lot of people before you are still waiting.

I find each field office has a different processing time, some are super slow and some are fast. So it depends on which office has your case.

Yeah, but I don't think there's an office that can finish a case in 3 months.

“So I finally received the physical letter for my interview. It's going to be the 3rd of December in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Timeline:
August 23 2020: I've submitted my case online.
August 24 2020: They sent my receipt notice saying they got my case and I received it one week later.
September 21 2020: They will send me a receipt notice saying that they will use my previous fingerprints.
October 14 2020: Interview was scheduled.
October 19 2020: Interview letter received.

My case is in the National Benefits Centre with my field office at Albuquerque, NM.“

I believe it is written on the appointment letter. There is a box called "Service center". It should say NSC, or MSC, or NBC...

I applied in June and haven't received bio appointment yet. My online account says estimated completion time "November 2020" lol I doubt this is accurate.

This is.normal estimation date. Now add 8 to 12 months for covid delay.

Has anybody recently send N-400 via FedEx to Lewisville, TX? I sent the package on 1/8/2021, FedEx tracking says delivered but I have not received any letter confirming it nor was the check cashed. What are current processing times? Should I start worrying and maybe apply online or is there a backlog that people are aware of and I should just wait? For reference this started as a K-1 visa.
