The New England Journal of Medicine on Wednesday, in an unprecedented editorial, denounced the Trump administration’s handling of the coronavirus pandemic and called for voting out “current political leaders” who are “dangerously incompetent.”

The harshly worded editorial is the first time the prestigious medical journal, which usually stays out of politics, has weighed in on an election.

Trump beats covid at the age of 74, of COURSE he needs to be removed!!  What will all the fear mongers 59 and younger do now to control the sheeple who have been falling in line for months?

How do you know he's beaten it? I mean, we haven't heard anything from the doctors that he has made it through and recovered. He left Walter Reed, but we do not know if that was at his own request (can't hold him) or if the doctors said "you're doing great now, go home." I think it's highly unlikely that he's recovered given how recently he got the positive result after testing negative repeatedly.

My experience knowing Harvard types is that they're not exactly the most liberal people. What they are is deeply dedicated to letting you know they went to Harvard.

  He'll be fine. He hasn't even taken HCQ yet. If there are any setbacks, he still has the wonder drug to fall back on.

    All the Harvard types I've come across and that I discussed politics with are Republicans. At any rate, the reaction to dangerously incompetent people is usually not a partisan one.

Hmm, these nearly 11,000 Dr. seem to think the plan that Joe Biden has is for the birds as well.  Considering President Trump did everything the CDC, Drs. Fauci and Birx said to do, maybe the NEJM's beef should be with those folks.
