I check my status online but says "Case Status Delay"

We are currently experiencing technical delays with the online case status system. Your case status may be unavailable at this time and you may receive a message that your case receipt number is not recognized. We are working to correct this situation and expect a resolution in the coming days. Once updates are again available, we will notify you when your case status changes. You can change your notification preferences under settings.

Does anyone experience the same?

I am getting the same message

I filed on Sept. 2nd and only found out by checking my USCIS account that a notice was issued for the reuse of my biometrics. So, I would 100% recommend keeping an eye out in your account. If you go to your N-400 case, you will see the tab "documents" and that's how I actually found out.

Your snapshot of "documents" looks like an exact carbon copy of mine as I too applied on Sep 2nd and my biometric reuse letter is also dated on 22nd Oct.

Good luck to both of us on our journey :).

Yes-- I'll be having a merged interview. I-751 interview first, then N-400. My I-751 interview was scheduled a month ago for Nov. 17.

Update: Interview has been scheduled.

FYI - I received an email today (Nov-5) stating my "Testing and Interview" has been scheduled and I will be mailed an interview notice.

My application was filed online on Sept 30, 2020.

My case was assigned to NBC at Orchard Park, KS.

Note WRT Different datapoints on this update (typing this at 3:15pm EST):

* I received the email at 3:01pm EST, which likely came from the "Case Status" site where in that account I added the "Receipt Number" and selected Email and Text notification.

* I did not receive a text notification yet

* Though the case shows status shows "Interview was Scheduled" it does NOT show the Biometrics Reuse notification from Oct 22.

* The My USCIS site where I filed my N400 does not reflect this update at this time (granted it has only been 10 minutes since the email)

Excited for the progress!

Somewhat concerned if the Interview date is during my semester's Exams coming up at the end of this month.

But Thankful for sure!

And wishing expediency for all of you.

Update:  Text message, and online copy of Notice for interview is now available as of 6:45am EST on My USCIS site.

So in short, there is time gap in which systems update when.

Hello everyone!

Our N-400 was mailed "mid September 2020", but to this date, November 9th, we have not received a Receipt letter, nor has our personal check been cashed.
Is this normal? Are the rest of you guys noticing the same delay?

I know a year ago it would take 2-4 weeks for the check to be cashed, but we're now almost at 8 weeks and still hasn't been cashed.

2 months seems like a long time even in COVID times.  Did you get a receipt/case number texted or emailed to you, and just no paper NOA? If no receipt number, is there any indication that it arrived at the lockbox facility (informed delivery with the mail service?)

USCIS says that if you believe your package has been lost at the lockbox facility, you can email them.  More info here: https://www.uscis.gov/about-us/organization/directorates-and-program-offices/management-directorate/office-of-intake-and-document-production/lockbox-filing-information

Wow, are you in the military or some other fast track? That's amazing.  No, after your interview, if you pass you have the oath then you're a citizen!  Congrats!
