Awesome!! For biometrics they usually route you to the closest Application Support Center. Likely have to go to NE for the interview (unless they waive it, crossing fingers!)

And good news for everyone waiting on biometrics without a 944 in their file yet, seems like they’re still processing biometrics without them. (I’m assuming you got fingerprint requests for the 485 in addition to the EAD and AP?)

and AP?

AP request based on pending I-485 doesn't require biometrics. Only AP request done outside the US based on humanitarian reasons or for significant public benefit requires biometrics: https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/document/forms/i-131instr.pdf Page 12

Usual notice "I485 - I765":

Recently they've been sending 2 separate notices to some applicants:

Can one get a bio appt before RF(I)E?

Apparently yes. @Cilllah got the bio appt in the mail before the possible RFIE for the I-944. Also remember, when you file a case, it is first forwarded to a service center. There, they check the eligibility of the applicant, do background checks (During this time you might get your biometrics appointment), and also check that all the supporting documents are complete. If one document is missing or unreadable, they will issue a RFIE. Afterwards, the service center sends the application to a local USCIS field office. At the field office, USCIS keeps processing the case; it is here where a RFE can be issued. If everything is under control and seems kosher, they schedule an interview; if not, they issue a RFE or other notices

So I got a I-693 Deficiency Notice in the mail today, just saying I didn't include my medical exam in my AOS package and to bring it to my interview if my case requires an interview.

Once I get my interview notice then I'm going to do my exam.

Was really hoping it was the biometrics appt. Oh well.

I just saw on Facebook a few people out of the Orlando office saying that they just received their biometrics appointment after six months waiting. Apparently Tampa is not much better but hopefully it won’t be so bad for me
