Finally some movement...

I just got my biometrics appointment (not reuse) for July. At least some movement. I saw it was uploaded to my online account today.

I've been a PR for 5 years, I was hoping they were going to reuse my biometrics. I hope everything is fine. 🤷‍♂️

My estimated time went up from 5months to 14 months 🤨 😟

Let's hope that estimate is wrong... It's been almost a year already :( let alone waiting another 14 months.

Estimate timeline is never been accurate, so don’t worry.

also not having a bio reuse just means you didn’t travel since a while and your bios are expired.

i have got exactly the same thing on Friday, biometric Appointment by the end of July and estimation time goes up from 5 to 14 months after waiting almost a year.   so this year long process was supposed to take just a month from day of n400 submitting to bio appointment on the normal process.

Hello Everyone,

Just like @roralau, my visajourney has come to a happy ending. After 10 months of waiting, i had a nice interview this morning at USCIS Santa Ana, CA and subsequently had my oath-taking all same day.

It was a combo interview (I571 and N400) I had this morning. It was a hard core, in-depth scrutiny from the adjudicator at the beginning but we ended up havin a nice chat towards the end!

I wish everyone a happy journey here! You’ll have yours soon. Claim it!!!

Congratulations to everybody who've completed their N-400 journey!

We received notice of a scheduled interview for August 3rd, Phoenix office. MyUSCIS showed expected completion in early October, so we got scheduled two months early. From what we've read, Phoenix office does swearing in ceremonies the same day, which is neat.

Some months back, we had an unusual experience with an AR-11 change of address: we moved from San Francisco field office to Phoenix field office in November 2020, received a notice that the AR-11 was received, yet our address was not updated in the profile. We did not notice it until February, considering we received a notice that the AR-11 was received. So, we called USCIS and to make sure that the profile address be updated. Highly recommend anybody else that submitted an AR-11 to make sure the profile address was actually updated.

Initially I couldn't get my way around the date for my interview but after i request for reschedule I found an alternative and I will be available on that day. I do not have new date for reschedule yet and i heard it takes months to fix. So, Can i appear for my interview on my original interview date?
