Scrivo in Italiano per chi deve fare l'intervista e la visita medica a Napoli.

VISITA MEDICA:sono arrivata all'Istituto Varelli alle 07.01 e per il consolato ero la numero 5 (il mio appuntamento era alle 08.00).
Il personale è molto cordiale e disponibile.
Appena arrivata e fatto l'accettazione, mi hanno subito chiamato per l'esame del sangue (una fialetta piccola).
Poi ci hanno fatto accomodare in un'altra "ala" dell'isituto e dei tecnici del consolato (ma italiani e abbastanza in là con gli anni) hanno controllato Nome Cognome ecc e mi hanno chiesto: 4 fotografie (anche le fototessera piccole vanno bene), INDIRIZZO USA e un MAIL.
Hanno controllato le vaccinazioni e ho pagato la tassa di 170 EURO. (potete richiedere la fattura). Nel caso vi servano vaccini vi dice quanto dovete pagare in più al momento. Se pagate con bancomat vi fa andare all'accettazione e tornare con le ricevute di pagamento.
Finito con loro hanno fatto i raggi X al torace e una visita medica generale (in pratica il foglio che ci hanno mandato con la nostra storia clinica, pressione, peso, altezza e hanno ascoltato i polmoni).
DURATA 4 ORE CIRCA
CONSIGLIO: vedete chi c'è alla visita medica...questi ve li ritrovate anche il giorno dopo ... sappiate che donne incinte e famiglie con bambini passano avanti. Io fortunatamente non ne avevo.
INTERVISTA: il mio B&B (Napul'è) era davanti all'ambasciata ed ero la prima della fila (ero lì poco prima delle 7 anche se avevo l'appuntamento alle 08.00)
Si entra per ordine di appuntamento ma anche per ordine di fila.
Quindi prima si va meglio è.
Entrato il cancello si consegna il passaporto alla guardia che lo controlla e ti da un numero e poi si entra e si passa il controllo sicurezza. Il telefono deve esser lasciato spento lì (ti danno un altro numero per ritirarlo).
Si entra nell'edificio e si sale le scale.
C'è una stanza con delle sedie e una TV e degli sportelli tipo ufficio postale.
Quando vieni chiamato l'impiegata ti chiede se si vuole parlare inglese o italiano (io ho detto che era lo stesso ma ha parlato con me in italiano).
Ti chiedono: PASSAPORTO, FOTOTESSERA 5X5 (GRANDI), CERTIFICATO DI NASCITA, SE E' IL TUO PRIMO MATRIMONIO, I CERTIFICATI DI POLIZIA, I-134 CON LE TASSE, DS-160, RICEVUTA PAGAMENTO DEL CORRIERE. (io avevo portato via tutto in duplice copia lo stesso....)
Ti prendono le impronte e poi ti fanno accomodare e il console dopo poco ti chiama.
Lei parla inglese e ti fa "giurare" che le informazioni sono tutte vere e che hai firmato di tua spontanea volontà.
Ti richiede le impronte e ti fa qualche domanda.
A me ha chiesto
1-How and where did you meet? (quando parlavo stava guardando quello che il mio fidanzato aveva scritto sull'I-129F e le fotografie che avevamo mandato come "prova")
2-How old are you and how old is your fiancè?
3-Have you met his parents and in which occasion? Has he met yours?
4-How do you communicate? (Skype, email, iphone....)
Finito lei scrive qualcosa al computer e ti comunica che il visto è approvato e che in massimo una settimana dovresti averlo.
Le ho chiesto per il biglietto aereo e mi ha detto che è meglio aspettare la consegna del passaporto per prenderlo.
Durata: SENZA CONTARE L'ATTESA FUORI, io sono entrata alle 07:50 e sono uscita alle 08:20.
SONO MOLTO GENTILI E DISPONIBILI.

After I arrived at PHL I went to the immigration check point and the friendly officer took my photo and the finger prints.
Then he said "Here's the deal: I take you over there and my colleagues will do the rest".
I moved to the secondary inspection office and the officers were all nice and friendly and we also joked about the Pope in the USA and about the fact that I was getting married.
10 minutes and they said "WELCOME TO THE USA!"
