Wednesday on MSNBC’s “Deadline,” network political analyst Jason Johnson predicted President Donald Trump would not leave office if he loses his re-election bid in November.

Anchor Nicolle Wallace said, “Well, I guess, Jason, the only thing scarier than Donald Trump continuing to show us who he is, is asking the question, what will he do if he’s facing a defeat? What is sort of in your bucket of worries about the desperate measures he’ll turn to ahead of November?”

Johnson said, “Well, so, you know, he’s already made it clear he’s stoking racial violence. I remember back in the 2016 Democratic convention when all the people got on stage, most of us were probably there and they were singing, you know, “What the world needs now is love, sweet love,” and I thought it was corny at the time, but now it actually makes sense. That is actually what America is looking for.”

I love this narrative.  It is not like Trump has nothing to go back to if he actually loses to the mental midget.  Maybe he could write another book with all the secrets he now knows regarding the swamp.

Hmm, maybe if Trump loses, he can have his DOJ follow the precedent from the previous administration and start an investigation of the Biden incoming team, outing any conversations with foreign ambassadors, and spinning a narrative of Chinese collusion.

I also didn't say that he wouldn't leave. It's just gotten to the point where that's an actual possibility. He probably won't, but it also wouldn't surprise me if he did turn it into a thing.

I have no doubt that a close election result would have the President claiming fraud, tying up the courts and delaying cooperation with the transition.

 

It would be best for the country  if he gets wiped out bigtime. 400 electoral votes should suffice.

I don’t think that will really happen given that Biden has no real excitement behind his candidacy.

I just stated what I see in the data coming in from polls and talking to people.  Nothing to do with 2016 , Russia, impeachment.  I don't know which guys you have me lumped with, but the numbers are not looking good for Trump.

Ask yourself, is that because people are buying into Biden? Nope his numbers are flat, Trump's are sinking with Independents massively. Why? I think people are just worn out from this guy.
