Video posted online as DA says case of Georgia man who was chased and killed will go to grand jurry

Looks like we got Trayvon part 2  down in Ga.

 

Supposed good kid peacefully jogging when chased, confronted and gunned down by white man and son.

 

No charges initially but going to grand jury after pressure.

 

Some take aways

 

Did the learn nothing from the Traynon case. Why would they chase the kid with a loaded weapon. 

 

I bet it turns out the kid is not the angel being portrayed in the press

 

Per the video, why would you charge a man with a shotgun

I really don't care about it being Trayvon 2.0 honestly because this has a better chance of them being convicted as they should be. I saw the video and it made them out to be awful. I don't care if you have a record or not, you should never be gunned down for running/walking on the side of the road

Yeah I watched the video and it looks to me like there was some type of altercation before the final altercation. Also it looks like he might have went after the older guy because the man was confronting him with a rifle in hand. So his fight or flight might have kicked in and he decided to fight

Of course I am not saying this kid deserved to be shot, just pointing out how similar it is to the Trayvon case.

True that. Much like Trayvon,  why in hades would you determine someone is guilty and go chase them with weapons.  The dad was a former cop. He should know better.

Yes it does but takes forever.  I dont think its a death penalty case.

As they should be.... You don't go off and follow someone with firearms and then kill him expecting to be let off the hook. This should have been done months ago
