Oath ceremony scheduled.

I just received an email that my oath ceremony has been scheduled.

This is an email only! There is no other information about it on myuscis or egov.

My ceremony (end march) was cancelled due to the covid. this notice does not mention re-scheduling it is identical to the first "ceremony scheduled" email sent months ago.

So, the lights are on in the offices...Thats good news. Just curious, when did you have your Naturalization interview then?

Good news congrats! I'm hoping that the oath ceremonies will be more determined based on what is happening in the local community in terms of shutdown status rather than the local office status. For example ours was canceled because the local venue where it was supposed to take place shut down operations that week even though ceremonies happened the same week in other places.

I only hope the local offices come up with other alternatives to ease the rush....Instead of waiting on the Judicial ceremonies. Like the ones they (field offices) hold on the same day of the interview.

Congrats! Would you mind updating us when you get the date? 

 

Mine was supposed to happen on March 18 in Plano TX, so I’m waiting for a rescheduled date also.

I'm beginning to think it was just a system glitch. I have not received a letter (normally I get those pretty quick). There is no info on myuscis (normally the document shows up in 2 to 3 days) and there is no info on egov either.

Should something show up I'll report back

2 members in my n-400 Facebook group reported that they received an email from USCIS Pittsburgh saying that they are planning on holding oath ceremonies again soon and they are reaching out to people who are willing to attend oath ceremonies in “short notices” (a few days in advance only). The email asked the applicants to respond to it if they are willing to do so. No fixed dates are set yet. Both of them live in Pittsburgh.

 

At least we know Pittsburgh field office is doing something proactively.

Going to keep up with your timeline as I can apply for N400 in 2 weeks, so your dates will be of interest.

 

I got my GC super quick after AOS in 2017, 4 months whole process, so fingers crossing N400 goes a quick!

Same here was suppose to be on 3/18 Plano as well..... I saw on fb someone from Dallas got schedule yesterday.... I asked where he was/if he had a canceled oath as well will update if I find out

Thankyou so much I saw different forums some people got scheduled ceremony in Dallas  but I requested name change may b that’s y it will take some time to get rescheduled ..
