My original Biometrics appointment was March 25. It's been more than 90 days since the Charlotte ASC reopened, but I still have not received any word on a rescheduled appointment.

 

I reached out via USCIS website a week ago, got a long canned response around Covid delays and reopenings, but nothing addressing my specific case.

 

The wait continues

What they told me was Charlotte opened up on the 20th of July..

Thanks for mentioning that. Everything in USCIS updates says they were resuming in-person services in early June. I assumed that meant ASC as well.

 

I do now see a few (non-USCIS) immigration related sites saying ASCs didn't reopen until July.

Not to my knowledge. My case status hasn't updated since March and I haven't received anything in the mail to-date.

while there is some movement at certain ASC's, it seems that most of us are still waiting to hear anything regarding biometrics reschedules....it's annoying 😕

Completed my biometrics today at 10am EST. As of this time, uscis updated my case completion time from nov 2020 to feb 2021.. can anyone share how long it took for their interview to get scheduled in cases where you did your biometrics after ASCs reopened from COVID closures? Or is everyone still waiting..?

Update: today got a notification saying they are ready to schedule a biometrics appointment and shortly after that received a notice in the Documents tab that my biometrics will be re-used.

I filed in March and did not have an appointment scheduled before they closed down. I filed electronically and am in Massachusetts.

There is no estimated completion time showing in my account.

Hi, I’m on the same boat, Bio-reuse , no estimate time and I’m in MA. if you scroll down the processing time forum there is a topic specifically for Boston filers it also includes people from Lawrence office If that’s helpful People are sharing their experiences.  What I can tell you is that it’s a little mess right now in MA some people are getting done in few months and some other people it’s taking longer.

Im from Boston. Filed ROC in March 2019. Filed N400 in March 2020. No news! Submitted an inquiry- hoping for some movement. My ROC case was in VSC and then transferred in Nov 2019 to Potomac Service Center.

Also in the boat of no movement in Los Angeles, CA. I did my biometrics for ROC in 2019,so they would have had records to reuse. I sent a message via the inbox and tool and also just received the canned "as ASCs reopen your appointment will be rescheduled" response. 

 

Sitting here with an expired AOS extension, no movement on ROC and no movement on N400. Trying not to fret and stress, but I'm just so tired of the process.

Just received notification via Case Tracker app that interview was scheduled today (Sept 30). So we'll know appt date/time when the interview notice arrives. Always waiting for something, right?
