Did anyone see their case turn to “ready” I literally got “in transit” less than 2 days ago. Is this correct ?

Mine still shows in Transit

Mine actually shows “ready” as well

Does that mean you are able to book your interview soon? I'm still trying to grasp how all of this works.

Technically yes, but considering that embassies and consulates are closed worldwide right now “soon” may be a relative concept. It really depends on when they’ll be operating again. Hopefully we won’t have to wait too long!

Do you have a copy of the PDF file from the first page of this thread? There I have explained certain steps, when they can be done, and where to go to execute the instruction. The top of the first page are the steps with the corresponding entry# to where you can find the background information for that step.

Canada is a different breed. They will not let you schedule your appointment until the receive the P3 checklist. If you do schedule before they receive your P3 checklist they will cancel the appointment. Some embassies are beginning to open their scheduling but not Canada. So, you have a little wait.

Thank you for the clarification. I do have the pdf, but my brain struggles sometimes with all the instructions. I know it's probably annoying to have to answer the same questions that have been asked before, but thank you. Yes, we are always a different breed, for the good and bad. That is good to know. I was encouraged to see cases being forwarded on to Montreal this week. I know we have a long ways to go, but I'm thankful for any little bit of hope. Our case doesn't have a case number yet, but we are in no rush :)

Hi guys, I just want to ask how to extend the noa2? My expiration is in June, thank you in advance for the answer

The NOA2 will be extended once the embassies are open as the validity is good for one year. You do not need to do anything now till you are informed from your embassy. No need to call or email as it will be automatic.

On the Bogota information page here

https://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?ctry=Colombia&cty=Bogota

It says:

"K visa applicants have to pay at the bank because K visas are technically non immigrant visas. They cost $365 USD in pesos and the Embassy collects all non immigrant visa fees through the Helm bank."

Any idea we what this fee is for? I thought the visa fee was for $265

I think their finger hit the "3" and not the "2". Here is the P3 for Columbia. It's in Spanish but does show costs and instructions and what not.

Well, we're still waiting for our package to get to NVC. It stinks that once it gets there, we still can't do anything but get the DS-160 completed. We need even more patience now but it's really hard since I can't even make plans to visit. Stay inside people! Let's try to get this ####### under control in the next month or so and get things going!

How is everyone else holding up?

A-OK here. You could pay your fee and check the scheduling. We are hearing some embassies have opened their calendars from June through August. It's going to be like "black Friday" once everyone hears that you can set up your interview dates. Your fee is good for a year so no need to worry about that part.

I'm expecting it to be a mad dash once everything opens. We'll do everything we can prior and just cross our fingers. There are some documents that we still can't get because offices are closed, so hopefully it won't take forever to get things firing on all cylinders again.
