  1. Thank you for the information, we scheduled an appointment with a civil surgeon.
  2. That's the thing. They never filled out a DS-3025. She was not asked about her vaccines at all. She has all of the vaccines but it's not possible for the USCIS to have any record of them given that it was never asked. When she had her medical examination, she tried to give her vaccine information and they said it wasn't necessary. This has happened to everyone else she has spoken to that had their medical exam done in Quito Ecuador. So I'm guessing I need to get her a filled out DS-3025 but can't find any information on how to do so.
  3. My wife has her green card interview scheduled for next month and one of the items required on the notice was the following: "If required, a completed Form-I693, Report of Medical Examination and Vaccine Record, and/or vaccination supplement in a sealed envelope (unless already submitted)." When my wife did her medical examination prior to the K1 visa interview, they neither gave her her vaccination record nor asked about it. Does she need to do the medical examination again now that's she's in the US so they give her her vaccination record or can she go to the interview without the vaccination record since she did do the medical exam prior to being issued the K1 visa?
  4. I just asked my Venezuelan fiancee and she says that he won't be allowed to leave Venezuela with an expired passport. Personally, I would go ahead and pay again to be safe. My fiancee says they're processing them quickly now and you'll have it within a month.
  5. Finally got our interview date! February 23rd. Congratulations!
  6. Our physical file arrived at the embassy a month ago but they told me they have to wait for the electronic record to arrive. Supposedly our electronic record was sent to them back in September. So it seems to me it was just lost. What can I possibly do? I keep contacting the embassy and they just tell me they'll notify me when the electronic record arrives but I feel like that could take another year at this rate.
  7. I don't see how the new administration will change anything given that the current one has already given the embassies the green light and many embassies are already processing K1s. The problem is entirely with the Colombian Embassy. Anyway, I got a response from them today saying my case has been sent already so that's good news.
  8. I am honestly going crazy. The Ecuadorian Embassy filed a request to transfer my fiancee's case from Bogota to Guayaquil nearly 4 months ago and Bogota refuses to do anything about it. I've sent them multiple emails over the last months and they never reply. I can't get through to anyone when I call. Why is the Colombia Embassy so terribly inefficient compared to Ecuador? What can I possibly do to get someone's attention?
  9. It's been 3 months now since my request and the case has said "Transfer in Progress" in CEAC for just over two months now. I'm starting to feel like the Bogota Embassy still hasn't gotten around to send the case.
  10. A month later and our case still hasn't arrived at the Embassy. I have no idea what's going on. Feel very helpless
  11. Hey guys, Hope everyone is doing okay. As far as I can tell, our case arrived to the Bogota Embassy back in April. Since my fiancee (Venezuelan) now lives in Ecuador, I've been trying to send the case to the Embassy in Ecuador for months but kept being told that everything was shut down because of the pandemic. Finally on September 3rd I was able to get in contact with someone regarding the transfer. They told me in normal situations the transfer request may take two months. At the end of September they told me that they requested our case from Bogota but couldn't give us a timeframe as to when it will arrive. I followed up two weeks ago and they said they're still waiting for the case to arrive. I followed up again yesterday and they are still waiting. Our CEAC status has said "Transfer in Progress" for since the end of September. Hopefully the case will be received soon but I have no idea if the case has even left the Bogota Embassy. Hard to believe it's already been a year since I started preparing to send out the petition. Anyway, just wanted to give everyone an update. I know my situation is a bit atypical but hopefully this helps someone.
  12. The wait is really getting to me, I just want to be there for my fiancee. She is in a difficult situation right now and I really feel I need to be there to support her. The only thing holding me back from moving to live with her is that I would have to leave my job which would ruin my ability to provide the affidavit of support. But it's at the point where I'm thinking about just giving up on the visa altogether. It's not worth it to me to spend an extra year or more apart from my love.
  13. Colombia has cancelled all international flights until August 31st. 😭 Since my fiancee is living in Ecuador should I try to get her case transferred from Colombia to Ecuador? She is Venezuelan and all Venezuelan cases are being processed in Colombia, but given that she lives in Ecuador I thought they might be able to take her case. Our case is already sitting in the Colombian embassy.
