Let's have some fun. Tomorrow use the DHL hack from the PDF and follow your case to your country. I just uploaded a new PDF So, hit the link from the first page first post. This is so, exciting to see all of you having cases "in transit" today.

It turns out our case has been sent to Bogota, Colombia instead of Ecuador. My fiancee is Venezuelan so I assume that's why they decided to send to Colombia, but she's living in Ecuador so when I filled out the i-129f I put the Ecuadorian embassy.

Should I try to get it sent from Colombia to Ecuador or would that be too much hassle? Having her do the medical, interview, and wait for the passport would probably require a month long stay in Colombia, and she has previously had a bad experience at the Bogota Embassy so she's pretty disappointed about the case being sent there, but I figure it might be better to just let it be.

Hi all. Glad to see so many cases in transit. I just checked mine also and it is in transit too the Dublin consulate.

I have been trying to get in touch with my embassy about extensions but haven’t heard anything back yet. My NOA2 is due to expire on 1st July so hopefully I’ll have an interview scheduled by then.

right now I’m in the US enjoying some time with my fiancé. Fingers and toes crossed that this all goes well for us all.
stay safe ❤️

It's up to you now where you want to interview. Changing embassies requires at least another 30 to 60 days more with the pandemic.

We didn't update our email. The petitioner got it (I never updated nvc with my own beneficiary email)

UPDATE: This the latest information concerning the answer to your question.  Venezuela doesn't have an embassy or consulate available, so their immigrant visa interviews are in Bogota instead of where they live or hold citizenship.

This exercise is not only for a suggestion for you but to others also.

Instead of replying to a large graphic here are separate ways to respond.

Here's some tricks to use when answering and wanting to quote someone.

First, when you use the quote button, go into a LONG posts that you are quoting and if there isn't a need to have the entire post, just delete a small portion of it, but leaving enough of the original post so we can understand what you are replying to. This includes graphics. Just left click on the graphic, and when it turns blue hit your "dlt" key. The graphic is now gone.

Second, you can use the "@" sign in a blank reply box then begin typing the person's nick to bring up a list with their name and select their name. If it is done right, you should see a blue box around their nick like this @Greenbaum. When you use the @ sign you would use it in a blank reply and not a "+" reply.

Third is just to use the "heart" icon and select "thanks". Don't really need to say thanks in a quote. (using your example, you were making a comment and a thank you so the way you presented yourself is fine.

I did not. However, this letter was intended for my fiancé as it says my fiancé’s name. Now I can’t recall if I put down my fiancé’s email or even if they asked for it. My fiancé did not receive this email. I would update it for your own sanity but I’m not 100% sure if it’s even necessary.

Hi guys!! Our status went to in transit yesterday and I have our case number. So excited!!

Mr. @Greenbaum Sir 😬 I am currently printing my tax transcripts & getting everything in order for the interview. When they ask the reason for my transcript request, am I to choose proof of income or immigration?

Technically it is for immigration purposes, but for me, I’m proving income, not immigrating. Did I just answer my own question? 😂😂

Packet Sent 10/18

Delivered to Lockbox 10/21

Fee Paid 10/25

NOA1 10/25

My update on Ceac says my interview date was given to me by NVC, which it wasn't. Is this a generic message?

You may get an e-mail that requests that you send documents to NVC, and they will schedule
your interview, which is a pat script sent out to "immigrant" visa applicants. Still, since the K-1
is treated as an "immigrant" during this process, you'll sometimes get notifications like this.
Just ignore them. You do everything with the Embassy once you are approved from USCIS with
a NOA2.
