Don’t know if this is the wright forum !

why file for early parole when they tell you they might not let your spouse back in the country when you have a duel card ? This makes no sense to me !!!! My wife wishes to go back home and see her child and mom and dad before starting work !

There are never any guarantees to be let back into the country unless you're a US citizen. Neither greencard or advance parole guarantee anything. But what makes her think they won't let her in? She's planning on doing something illegal while outside the US? If not, then I don't see why she's worrying. Hundreds of thousands of people travel to the US every year with their AP.

They say the same thing for GC holders as well so why travel on GC?? Entering US using AP or GC usually carrie similar risk, that’s why file for early and travel on AP while GC is processing.

No nothing illegal ! Just don’t want to take gamble ! I think if you apply and have card you should be able to travel and not worry ! This puts a question on everything ?

Only USCs are guaranteed entry at the borders.  Nothing new there.

If she wants to see family in Ukraine then she had better get over her fear.  She is obviously worrying about it way too much.  We have been to Ukraine and back to the USA 8 times in the past 3 years and never had a problem getting back into the USA.

Hi there. Nothing to worry about.

My husband left the country for a vacation and he was let in with a dual combo card as well. All they did was send him to secondary inspection, which is standard when returning on advance parole. They asked him a few questions. He actually vanished to go to the bathroom and they called me up and gave me his passport and said "You're good to go". When my husband came back from the bathroom break I told him the good news haha

This was in August 2018 by the way. He has since gotten his green card but we haven't traveled again.

All will be well and she'll return to you. Please don't worry.

Why would they not let her in?  Advance Parole exists for the very purpose your wife will use it......her chances of being allowed back into the US with advance parole are EXACTLY the same as if  she was re-entering with a Green Card.......exactly the same....

She can relax and enjoy her trip if she has a valid advance parole document....

They CAN refuse anyone who is not a US citizen.....Green Card or not.........don't worry.  If she has a valid AP card, she very, very likely will not have any problems.
