You may not be, but there are others cynically and knowingly abusing the system in this thread...

Hi there, what people share here not even 1% of what their actual situation. That's all I want to say.

Week (Thursday-Wednesday) Applications Received Passports Awaiting Issuance** Passports Issued*
This Week (Sep 4-Sep 10) 110,000 944,000 129,000
Last Week (Aug 27-Sep 3) 151,000 919,000 168,000
2 Weeks Ago (Aug 20-Aug 26) 165,000 938,000 156,000

New stats, the numbers make no sense anymore!!!

40k less received. 40k less issued, but 25K more awaiting???

I am starting to believe that their first goal was to reduce number of awaiting passports to less than a million, and now they are slowing down. There are many agencies are phase two, but they are still slowing down each  week.

Check cashed and application trackable today, six days after submission. The website says, In process (or was it In progress). I've seen posts where people call a number to find a processing center. Is this for finding out if my passport was assigned to a slow center?

Congrats. I applied next day of yours i.e. on July 31st, but the application to be trackable, took much longer time than yours. Its also in NOrleans. Hope I hear the same news soon.

Well, Labor day was Monday, so that explains the drop off .

No work Monday, hangovers Tuesday.

The chart is for Thursday through Wednesday.
