I-751 December 2019 Filers

Hey everyone! We mailed the ROC application on December 16th, it arrived December 19th, and today I got home from work and the NOA was in the mailbox! The notice date says 12/23, and it’s at the Texas service center. 
 

So I guess now we wait!

NoA received today, 18-month extension, date 12/24, Nebraska center.

 

Once the green card expires, do I need to carry round the NoA in addition to the expired green card? Or will a copy of the NoA satisfy the ICE officer that randomly asks me for proof of residency?

I filed last december 17,2019 and I got my extension letter yesterday..

We just sent our docs yesterday, and they are scheduled to arrive today.  More waiting ahead of us, I guess...  Good luck to everyone with their journey - may it be as smooth and fast (I wish...) as possible!

hello everyone i am about to file the form i751 can someone please tell me all documents that i need to send with the form and the checklist. thank you

Just sent out my ROC I-751 to USCIS in Phoenix. Supposedly it is getting there by Friday.

Anyone any idea around what time I would receive my NOA1 extension letter? And when do they cash the check?

Hey guys😊 here my update

* Sent out package via usps to Dallas lockbox on 12/18/19.

* Got a text message on 12/18/19

* Recieved a letter of extension on 12/31/19.

The wait time begins. Happy new year Everyone

You got the text the same day? Or did you mean the 28th?

@Snorkel378 hi! it looks like we mailed our ROC packets within 24 hours from each other. I mailed mine on 12/26 and it was overnighted and delivered on 12/27 at 10 am, signed by someone too. I am wondering if you have received any news yet: text or email, check cashed etc? 

I am starting to get worried they will send mine back to me, as i might have been 1 day too early to file. Seems that i miscalculated my 90 days window...

My green card expires on 3/26/20 and i signed the form as of 12/26/19; however the day i can start filing is 12/27/2019. That is due to 2020 being a leap year. Not sure if they count 90 days opening window as of the date you sign the forms or the day they actually receive the package at their PO/ Lockbox.

Oh wow, my wife's green card expires the same day! And i wasn't sure about when to send so I played it "safe" and sent it on the 27th, signed the 27th as well. But I also included a print out of the screen shot of the 90 day calculator from the USCIS website to back us up. And I imagine that with uscis closed last Wednesday and this Wednesday, being federal holidays, things might be a little staggered and I'm hoping to get a text tonight, and see that my debit card has been swiped when I wake up in the morning, as I used a credit card authorization form. I'll post once it comes in!

ugh dang it, i should used the same calculator instead of doing math in my own head and forgetting that 2020 is a leap year! 😓

well silver lining is that you can apply for naturalization the day after Christmas this year, if that's your plan. My wife is doing so, and the fact we can do it online is a godsend.
