Thanks! I was wondering because I didn’t need to add any extra information on page 11 so I didn’t put my name and number there, so I’m afraid they will send it back because of that.

You shouldnt. if you have nothing to add then your name and number there are not needed either. I’m not 100% sure, but it makes sense to me 🤷🏻‍♀️

Hi everyone, just a quick question and please I need every advice I can get from you all.
After moving to the US in May of 2018, I spent about 3 months here with my wife however, I had to travel back to my country for about 3 months to complete a contract before moving in permanently. Now the question is, do I need to include documents about my travel in my packet?

Today  I am November 18 filer and I got ROC got approved today.

Lesson:

1. This is a painful journey. have patience! it might take 13 months to 19 months.

2. This is what I learned, sending 500 pages of evidences dont work in ROC. send minimal but make sure you are sending solid evidences. like bank statement, tax file, State ID with same address for both. insurance and having baby is big advantage. I sent only 40 pages. if you send them 500 page, they may or may  not review all the pages that you are sending. if  they review all the pages then it will take long time and it will create doubt when officer will review. Officer might ask for face to face interview.

3. Review  your  application couple of times before you send it. make sure you are sending the right amount.

4. send pictures like 15 to 20 with description. dont send them albums. They are not interested.

if you are paying tax and did not commit any crime. you will be fine.

Good luck... it's a long journey.

Congratulations to you!

I sent my package on 12/30/2019, and it has just been delivered today, my greencard will expire on 1/12/2020. I know I should have sent it earlier, but my window to file was November 13, 2019. I gave birth to my first child on November 17, so November and December was really crazy for me. I barely had time to prepare the paperwork. I’m hoping and praying that there won’t be any problems with my paperwork. Though, me and my husband doubts ourselves if we really signed the document, hoping we did.

Got a text saying "Case is received". Does that mean all is well for the time being? If a paper was missing or whatnot would they change the message?

In essence, what does the message say if you have not signed the form etc. Just trying to figure out whether it is time to relax and wait it out; or am I not in the clear yet!

Do not staple documents. USCIS requests not to staple any documents and use fasteners. Here is their form filing tips.
