I don't think they would take the money if they reject your case right away. I'm sure you will get the letter in the mail soon.

Check - But I think its processing now. I had just never heard of check being deposited after the NOA text, unless it was being rejected so I was freaking out!!!

I submitted G-1145. Don’t worry you will a text notification pretty soon. Checks are always cashed before they sent text notification . I got the text notification the same day checks were cashed.

Checks are NOT always cashed first. I received a text yesterday. My check had NOT been cashed yet.

 

Fortunately, my bank told me that it got cashed TODAY (a day after the text).

The “Acknowledgement of Appointment at USCIS...” segment, the first box cannot be edited. It automatically shows my initials; say, my name is Joan Shane Smith, the box then shows J.S Smith. Am I supposed to write my complete name instead?

After an unexpected delay, I was finally able to send my I-751 last week. USPS tracking shows it was received on F 12/20, but, despite filing the G-1145 form, I have not received the acknowledgment SMS. Hopefully by M checks will be cashed and SMS will be received.

Hi December fliers, I filed my i-751 package on December 17th, and it was delivered by UPS on December 19th. Today, December 24th, I got a notification from USCiS, that my case has been received.

My timeline:

 

*2-year green card expires: 02/08/2020

*Send I-751 (USPS, Priority Mail $7.95, Texas PO box): 12/06/2019

*I-751 arrival: 12/11/2019

*NOA I-797 issued & pending check processing: 12/13/2019

*Received I-797 and clear check posted: 12/16/2019 (Vermont EAC center)

 

Did not know about form G-1145. If anyone wants USCIS to send you a text that they have received your mail, don't forget to attach the form in front of your package.

Lesson: 

1. This is a painful journey. have patience! it might take 13 months to 19 months. 

2. This is what I learned, sending 500 pages of evidences dont work in ROC. send minimal but make sure you are sending solid evidences. like bank statement, tax file, State ID with same address for both. insurance and having baby is big advantage. I sent only 40 pages. if you send them 500 page, they may or may  not review all the pages that you are sending. if  they review all the pages then it will take long time and it will create doubt when officer will review. Officer might ask for face to face interview. 

3. Review  your  application couple of times before you send it. make sure you are sending the right amount. 

4. send pictures like 15 to 20 with description. dont send them albums. They are not interested. 

 if you are paying tax and did not commit any crime. you will be fine.
