DOS updated their website yesterday:

https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/News/visas-news/Proclamation-Suspending-Entry-of-Immigrants-Who-Present-Risk-to-the-US-labor-market.html

IR1/2s are mentioned in final paragraphs as mission critical.

It is a very new development. I doubt the embassies have had time to adjust yet. So patience, patience.

Yes! But they leave it loose by saying "may include...", they are so unclear. We just need the embassy to open and then we can see! Soon, let's hope

Any Idea what the current backlog looks like ? Are they still stuck on cases from 09/2019-10/2019 ? Also do you know when they will start interviewing ?

Nobody knows :( I wish I had better idea too

Hey all..

No news on American embassy starting on interviews again??

I thought I heard they were going to start again sept.30th?

I think we are all just waiting on an update from them.  I check the website daily and they’ve said nothing new.  Really frustrating.  Maybe something in October, fingers crossed.

I really hope so... we are all so tired and just want to get all this over with.  It's heart breaking.  In shaa Allah soon

Unfortunately they never said they would start again after sept 30. They said that all appointments were canceled till at LEAST September 30. They haven’t announced that anything  is going to change but let’s hope for the best. All we can do

Any updates ? I'm sure December will be a very slow month. I started looking forward to 2021.
