Am Ghanaian i meet American citizen online then we date for about 6 months then she came to Ghana, on her first coming to Ghana we got marriage, and she starting filing for me and also made a second visit to me after we got married in 5 months time ,now everything is completed with NVC,now it left with my interview letter and date, can it affect my interview or visa. My wife is 33 years and i am 30 years .

Why would this be an issue? Are you in a bonafide marriage if so great. I am 26 years older then my husband went through Nigeria. No issue. If it's real and no issues you should have no problems.

 

3 years is hardly an age difference.

Marriage on the first visit---It can be a red flag considering the home country is Ghana.  But if you have plenty of face-time and supporting evidence, will overcome that.

Am Ghanaian and i met my wife who happens to be American citizen though online dating , then we date for about 6 months and she came to Ghana visit me and we got married , So when she went back to the states she started filing for me and also made a second visit to me after we got married in 5 months time ,Now the case is complete and waiting for interview letter and date, Can getting married the first time of meeting affect my interview or visa.

Spending as much time together, before the interview, will overcome issues like that. Being listed as a beneficiary on her life insurance, being on her credit card or checking account will help too.  Research co mingling.

Ghana is a tough consulate.   Just doing/ having the minimum isn't going to make it easier.

@E/R Just make sure you have lots of evidence to prove you have bonafide marraige and be ready to convince the the CO. Marriage on first visit can bring up questions by CO but that on itself cannot disqualify you. He/She will look at the totality of the evidence before them. USEM is tough but with preparation and thoroughness you can overcome it. Good luck.
