USCIS recieved my RFE. How many months should I wait for their decision or approval for my petition?

Usually you'll have answer within 2 to 4 weeks. Your individual mileage may vary.

128 days now. It's difficult to not get aggravated with the process as there doesn't appear to be any rhyme or rhythem to approvals. I've read the forums enough to know this isn't a long wait compareitivley, but it doesn't make it any easier.

Just to update, I was notified that my RFE response was received Feb 5. I saw that it was pretty common to hear back in about two weeks, so that would be super exciting! However... the most exciting thing is that I'm headed to Mexico tomorrow to spend a long weekend with my honey!! Hoping to see some more NOA2s in here before the week's up! Hang in there, guys!

The are working their way through October. I'd say that are on the third week of the month so you are getting near.

We need a little housekeeping on your end. Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Once you finish that then return and you will see a flag in your profile. Select it and see what wonderful information will open up for you.

Thanks

There is a pattern to when they will be complete. When they are complete. Look back on this and try and recall if USCIS, NVC or your embassy ever promised you that you would be approved on such and such date. No, they didn't. Your aggravated because this is not happening on YOUR schedule and it's not your schedule that USCIS gives a hill of beans about. I'm sorry but that's the reality. They are nearing the end of October so it may be a few more days or weeks and you will hear something. Good luck.

🙄. Don't tell me why I'm aggravated. I already prefaced my previous comment about understanding my situation is not special or unique. Thank you.

I gave you a dose of reality. I said so in my reply to you. Showing displeasure in someone helping you is not healthy. Anyway, I wish you luck as I will not be responding to your need for any help. I'd be wasting my time.
