I 130 approved by USCIS on the 14th of August, NVC number has not arrived yet

It can take 30 to 60 days

So has your status changed to Sent to Department of State? It probably hasn't even left the service center.

USCIS approved on 7/31 for me. It was sent to nvc on 9/4 so you got to wait longer.

You should be following the case creation. It tells you what dates.

It takes a month to have them ship it out from USCIS. Wait a bit longer. Then you going to wake almost another month for a case number. So again waiting is the game.

I was recently told that it can take 3-4 weeks before getting a case number. In the meantime, you can call the NVC to make sure that they received your petition. However, I was also told that it can take 60 days for cases to get to the NVC. I think every case is unique.
