Basically same thing but you can sign up for text and email updates if they send them.

I signed up by including the form for the text and emails, got the text, no email. I guess I would still check in like maybe once a week just to make sure I haven't missed anything due to a missing text or email. 🙂

27 NOV 2019 - I-129F mailed to Dallas, TX Lockbox

02 DEC 2019 - NOA1

Trust the Process! They are not going to loose your file. Relax and stay off the phones. If they need something they will issue a RFE NEVER a text message. You can't manage what you can't manage.

Congrats!

Now I'm getting lonely here in the NOA2 waiting room.

Don't worry, we are still here waiting with you.  We are also Russian but filing in Korea, maybe it is slow for Russians.  :)

There's basically no correlation between beneficiary's home country and petition processing time over any time span large enough to have more than a handful of non-Philippines petitions per country (once things actually get to the embassy/consulate, that's another story entirely).

We are still waiting also. Fiance is in the Philippines. The waiting is getting easier as time goes by, but my heart stills jumps whenever I see I have an email.

Why is your NOA1 same as your filed date?

Nope. Still here. Just hoping for good news each day. I understand the process, I've read the guides, etc. But there's always the smallest bit of disappointment to see those submitted weeks after us approved weeks before us.
