skilled worker Help - EB-3 (E31) Visa - Bringing Spouse & Child to the US

I came to the US three months ago on EB-3 or to be more specific on E31 Visa.  I have a Permanent Resident Card now.  I want to bring my spouse and child to the United States.  I was told E31 visa holder's spouse and children can come to the United States much faster than other Permanent Resident Card holders.  Could someone please guidance on the process.  I have been searching online, but couldn't find much information.  Any help will be appreciated.

Why were they not included in the original petition?

They would fall under the F2A visa category which is current. So you would apply for them under that category

From my quick search it looks like it takes a year or two to get an F2A (or longer depending on availability) It’s a great question from @Boiler why there weren’t on the original petition. Its going to be a while before you will be permanently reunited

 

Also once you are a LPR it doesn’t matter if it was under employment or family reunification in terms of sponsoring family. Your EB3 has no added benefit to sponsoring your spouse and child

Thank you.  I looked into the F2A visa category and it appears to be correct answer.  I also researched to see several people who had their case completed anywhere from 8 months to a little over a year.

when you added them as your beneficiary on your EB application you should have the option for them to come as accompanying or follow to join. If you opt them as follow to join they can come at a later time and don't need to join you for the interview and their GC will be available anytime but if you did remove them as beneficiary then it's a very unfortunate that they will go under F2A to get their GC and will wait for quite some time.

 

Just check your last application details regarding your beneficiary status

Your post history is very confusing. You previously had a spousal visa, progressed to naturalization, then petitioned a spouse and parents and now you’re a recent arrival on an employment visa.

I noticed this, as well. How can you be a naturalized citizen who's already petitioned for parents now recently entering with an employment visa?
