I would agree, HW Bush wasn’t as much a narcissist as the others I listed, but I really don’t get into degrees, as that smacks of opinion.  President Trump may appear to be more of a narcissist, but considering who he was running against in 2016 (we were dodging sniper fire in Bosnia), he was on the same level.  There is one thing I like about President Trump as opposed to the others, you know what he is thinking, or one could say, he is an open book as compared with a President Obama, or President Bush.  I am not a big fan of his Tweets, but my feeling of Twitter being a cesspool is fairly well known, but he is the most open President we have had at least since President Reagan..

This is why I say let the people decide, if you don’t want to go to Walmart, or SoulCycle, that is your decision.  There is no need for government intervention.

It's basic free market economics. Some will choose to spend their money without really thinking about what the owner stands for, if the products are made using cheap labor or sweat shops, etc. And some will choose to not spend their money at places that may affiliate themselves with ideas or products or choices they don't like. Dicks Sporting Goods stopped selling guns. People got mad and stopped going in protest, and others were happy and supported the place. They took a loss, but now they are doing pretty well. $ is now considered a form of expression or even speech these days.

🙄 When legitimate facts and figures fail the liberal mind (which in most cases is at the outset) it resorts to distortion and outright falsities. Bettie dear, one cannot dodge a draft in which one was never called up. By your definition, the former president dodged the draft as well. How dare Mr. Hussein Obama not report for duty!

 

I shall also note that it's not politically correct to diagnose mental illness from afar, or at least according to that bastion of high minded liberal journalism and man-shaming, jezebel.com. But why not, let's label the President of the United States a narcissist with zero clinical evidence. My kind silently tolerated the very concerning behaviors and failures of the previous president, because--perish the thought!--we at least still respected the office and trusted that any medical issues would be resolved by qualified medical practitioners. There is no reciprocity from the left for such respect, deference, or afforded dignity for the office of the President. It really has just come down to tearing down the institution at any cost.

I've been around quite awhile, longer than you actually, although I did admittedly spend some years away. I had a different account, but have since lost the password. It was part of my older life anyway, so even if I could be arsed to recover it, I wouldn't want to.

 

But to your (seemingly) real point, what exactly have I said that was a misrepresentation of this forum? Is it not a bastion of reason? Do the liberals not show up, only to leave quickly?
