Still no word on rescheduling my oath but I know my local office is backed up to heck. They did give me an ADIT stamp in my passport at least so I can prove my status and leave the country/come back without issue.

Patience, I suppose, is once again required.

Had my interview scheduled in Newark, NJ on April 15th, but this was canceled. No word yet on when I can come in now.

Any other August 2019 filers in the same boat?

Mine was scheduled on April 16th. No word yet on rescheduling. I am not even sure if they have started rescheduling any of the original April interview dates.

Anyone in the L.A. county area heard anything about interviews yet? Submitted my application/biometrics last August - the estimated case completion date says September 2020.

We haven't heard anything and we are in LA as well! However, we filed end of September and did biometrics early October. Our estimated completion is August 2020 though - strange since you filed earlier! Maybe a different field office.

I, too, submitted last August, the end. At first had this August 2020 as my deadline, but now it just says due to current situation, the completion time might take longer.

Any filer from August 2019 NEWARK office received interview reschedule?

Nothing yet. I even called, but of course they can't tell you anything.

It's still a waiting game, I guess.

Thanks. It is frustrating that March ones are already scheduled but April is still not scheduled.

Thank you! Now I need to work on these civics questions, I just found out they were NOT multiple choices.

Also, I didn't receive a letter or a notification, I randomly checked my uscis account and noticed that a new letter was available

Wait... NOT multiple choice? So those multiple answers they give you, you have to know all of them?

Sounds like it... I found the information here: https://my.uscis.gov/prep/test/civics

It clearly says "The actual civics test is NOT a multiple choice test. "

I need to prepare more than I thought....

Correct....they were never multiple choice.

No, you do not have to know all of them.

If the question is "Name one of the....." then you name only one answer; same for "Name two of the...." then you only name two.

For example, there's a question "Name two cabinet-level positions." My choice of answering is Secretary of Education and Secretary of Defense even though there are many positions in Cabinet.

Easy way is to memorize those specific answers you will use should the question is asked. :)
