processing time at NVC

Hi,

We got RFEs twice at the NVC stage. Both at these two times, it took 3 weeks for them review our documents again. But this time it has been almost a month. I know theoretically it can take longer, but will it be useful to call NVC to see what's up with our case? Or should we just wait without doing anything?

Thank you

It’s a free call.  What were the RFE’s for?

usually the process is a lot quicker if your embassy offers online submission

Doesn't matter much if the petition is still stuck at NVC

YMMV

In other conversations I've seen a lot of people talk about how they are expediting there cases and skipping the whole NVC process all together and having their cases sent straight to their respective consulates and they are making their own visa interview appointments...anyway, I'm just starting the NVC processing part of my process, ds260 has been filed and i864 is being sent tomorrow. I would like to see if you guys could please give me a little input on how long it takes to get a case complete...my husband and I are really stressed about how long this whole part of the process is going to take and how long it's going to take after cc until we finally get our interview appointment date in CDJ. Any help would be greatly appreciated

The following day after I asked the question, we got our "documentarily qualified" notification. So we are waiting for the appointment date now.
