What to expect after visa issued?

So for all of those waiting to know the status.. this morning it changed to ISSUED!!! Now I'm a little confused about getting the visa and passport in hand. I believe we selected the option of picking it up at a certain location so will he be notified when his stuff is ready for pick up or do they mail anything? 

My last question is for those who have already come over to the US. Do you think there will be any issues when he gets to customs since we used the ESTA and shouldn't have (but honestly didn't know and thought we were good) from his cautions. I guess that's my biggest concern because I've heard people saying that just because the visa is issued doesn't mean the US has to let him in....

Congratulations!!!  Just be sure to marry and file for adjustment of status within 90 days of his arrival in the US......

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

So so SO happy for you girl! Your fiancé will get an email either today or tomorrow from the courier company in regards to when he can collect his package from the location he selected!

Thank you!!!! I honestly was NOT expecting it to be issued... still doesn't feel real. And thank you.. I'll let him know!

At least it's booked and you now know he is coming, I'm down in London today for my medical, just biding my time until my appointment 😅

I almost bought a ticket to go to England in the beginning of October because I really didn't think it would be approved. I'm glad I didn't lol.

Thank you!!! We just got the email saying our visa is ready for pickup tomorrow! I'm so freaking happy right now!
