Apple User Spam?

I am wondering if any other users are experiencing the same issue I am.

I use an iPad to access the full website, not mobile version.

I do not get the issue except on www.visajourney.com

 

More and more often I get a pop up in the middle of the screen that says:

The date and day change, it isn't just Thursdays. There is a new page behind the pop up with a survey and comments from fake users  like "OH wow, I got a gift card".The best way to carry on without clicking anything is completely shut down the window and reload VJ. The back arrow gets you nowhere.

 

So....Does the Capt have any idea why it only happens to me on www.visajourney.com?  My spouse has seen the same on her iPad using  the whitepages  website, which I don't use. Any suggestions because it is annoying?

I can't even get back to my post now without the pop up I described. Please read what I posted. I wanted to update it that the moment I hit submit for that post, I got the pop up again and copied the url

Has this been looked at? It seems the same kind issue that we were having a while ago and that was eventually addressed, discussed in this thread https://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/644594-visajourney-mobile-getting-a-lot-of-pop-up-adds/

I'm getting it almost constantly on my iphone & ipad now but not on my PC. First time in months since the above issues stopped.

ohhhhhh.... i just remembered i enabled popups on my ipad (which i needed for a particular site). I'm going to disable them again and see if that works...

I downloaded AdGuard and it’s stopped the issue for me so far

I’m getting this too and it’s driving me mad! Although maybe it’s a good thing if it reduces the amount of time I spend obsessing over the immigration process 😛

It's happening every time I use my mobile to log in.  I have mobile security and pop up blocker enabled.  It's a known malware ad.
