My case was transferred to Nebraska and review of fingerprints done in March - still no update. Anyone else waiting this long? I filed the whole thing in April 2018 and have had no RFE’s. Seems like people that filed later are already getting approved. 😞

My I-751 has been approved!

Here's my timeline -- not sure how much it helps since I originally applied through the California Service Center:

8/7/18 - application sent

8/30/18 - 18 months letter

3/9/19 - Biometrics waived (reused from previous application)

5/31/19 - case transferred from CSC to Nebraska

6/26/19 - Approval Notice generated (online case status updated as well)

7/1/19 (today!) - online case status updated to "Card was Mailed"

Looks like my hunch was right: Nebraska is moving fast. First few approvals from August came in today. So improved from 13 month approvals to 11 months for the earliest approvals

For Nebraska, I notice that all approvals so far are transferred cases. I remember that Nebraska was added as a 751 processing office since fiscal year 2019, so basically they start taking new 751 cases since October 2018, and all cases before were transferred.

It would be really helpful to know if October filers at LIN are getting any updates, which would inform the timeline for later filers who started at LIN from the beginning.

Anyway, wish everyone good luck!

ROC Timeline

01/02/2019: I-751 delivered to USCIS (Texas)

01/08/2019: check cashed & online status show "case received"

03/02/2019: 18-month extension letter received (LIN)

08/02/2019: biometrics letter received

08/23/2019: biometrics appointment

11/04/2019: approval letter received

11/05/2019: online status changed to "card in production"

11/07/2019: card received ✌️😊

Agree, I’m a LINer from the start and would love to know the progress on the transferred backlog cases too.

Exactly, Nebraska center directly accepts 751 cases from September 10th, 2018, when USCIS changed the filing addresses for 751 applications.

BTW, probably a typo in your signature, it seems you delivered your 751 at 01/02/ 2019, not 201😁

My boy sent his file last June 2018 to California Service Center. We dont know if it is transferred somewhere. He received his biometric waiver letter late last year. Website doesnt show any update. I hope his will be approved soon.  Anyways, if he receives an RFE, we already have prepared documents as additional evidence - but I hope he doesnt have to do RFE anymore, but an approval instead. He called USCIS customer service, they cant give him an update .  If I remember correctly, they said they wont know if his file is transferred to another service center unless he receives a notice.

My case? Still waiting for any update. It has been 15 days since they received my RFE response. Maybe its too early to get an update...  Still waiting patiently..

Fingers crossed you get an approval soon! It seems that cases that get transferred to Nebraska get approved fast so I hope that’s the case with you.
