9/5/18: Interview scheduled notice, 10/17/18: Interview

10/24/18: Green card produced notice, 10/25/18: Formal approval, 10/31/18: Green card received

7/13/2017: Interview: APPROVED!!!

7/19/2017: Visa in hand

8/15/2017: POE

In an effort to keep the thread from deteriorating let's all agree that....

  • A person with an already valid visitor visa can visit the US during another visa process, including fiance and spousal visas.
  • A person can stay in the USA up until the allocated time given and it will not have an adverse effect on their immigrant visa.
  • The max amount of time (6 months) to spend in the US is not guaranteed and the official amount of time is determined by the border agent upon entry.

And if you have a pattern of abusing your visiting privileges getting another one could be tricky.

I -94 is usually for 6 months, but personally when I go for travel I usually stay for a week and never longer than that.

I am agree with Georgian in 2017 I started my K1 visa process and I visited 4 times to my fiance  during my process and never had issues for that
