What’s going on!!!

 

I thought I’d start the new April 2019 129F thread 

 

Best of luck to all new filers 🥳 Currently it takes at least 6-8 months to receive the NOA2 for I-129F. (Yes it could be less)

The United States Postal Services (USPS) has cool tool that lets you know a hint what is comming to your mail box. This way you can track NOA1 and NOA2.

we interviewed in Guayaquil

but he did the interview in English as he was wanted to work here

Thinking maybe your post is in the wrong location, I'm not quite sure what you mean as opposed to this thread? Ahh maybe just a general statement you are making!

Interviewing in English does not preclude that he will get a job. Does it help to be bi-lingual YES. Does it influence the outcome of the interview; in some cases yes as the CO wants your relationship to succeed so he doesn't become a burden on the tax payer even though you have that responsibility. But it also affects the relationship as to how will you communicate with each other if he doesn't speak English and you don't speak his language. Just a thing that they consider for the interview.

 

This thread is for those who are K-1 and so our knowledge is centered around that process. Since you are a CR-1 we may not be able to give you an answer as things work differently for different visa types.

Hi everyone! I mailed in my I-129F to the USCIS Lockbox today since I didn't want to send it on April Fool's... We're very excited!

Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer.
