Good morning everyone,

Called NVC, they received our case on May 3rd, but still no case number yet. Should I wait a few days and call again for a case number or just let it run it’s course?

They received mine on the same day also. I’ll be calling on Friday like @Greenbaum said.

I just called the NVC on our case. I only waited 30 seconds before they answered my call. They told me our case was received on May 3!! But there is no case number assigned yet. I will call back in 2 or 3 days for a case number and to see when it will leave on the way to the embassy. :)

NVC received my case on Wed 4/24...The case number was assigned the next Wed 5/1  so about a week.....we missed missed the 4/30 shipments ....If I were you  Id call Wed, Thurs and Fri this week.  FYI...nothing you can do with that case number.  As it looks..if you get a case number by Wed this week your file will ship on the 14th ...if not by Tues or Wed (tomorrow) your case will probably be shipped to your embassy on May 28th.  Just my opinion...everyone is different.  Good luck

Hello, I have aimes questions can somebody please help

1- I have 2 children with my fiancé born in the US and living with me . Will it be relevant to take their birth certificate to the embassy even though their dad who is the beneficiary have never been here to sign their birth certificate ? They have his last name.

2- I got pregnant with my second when I visited late 2017 but the time I return to the US I was already 3 months  and showing , I look for a job bu nobody wanted to hire a pregnant woman so I did not work until I gave birth, In conclusion I did not work the whole year 2018 so no tax return for me.  Now my brother makes $200k a year and is willing to co sponsor but he owes on his return for the year ($ 4000). Can he still sponsor us?

3 -I now started to work do I need to add my pay checks and a letter form y employer to show that I’m working now?

we trying to gather all the necessary support paper.

Thank you

Q1 - The children are US citizens and do not need to be with you or be a part of any visa since they are USC. Make sure each of them have US Passports and there will be less of a problem and less paperwork.

Q2 - It's up to the Embassy whether they will except a co-sponsor. You can have him complete the I-134 and the other financials that I will list.

EVIDENCE OF SUPPORT. You should be able to demonstrate that you will not become a public charge or be a burden on the U.S. taxpayers for financial support. A completed I-134 Affidavit of Support Form (https://www.uscis.gov/i-134) K1/K2 Interview Preparation Instructions – English (February 2014)  Page 3 of 9 with an original signature will be useful to the consular officer to evaluate your petitioner’s ability to be financially responsible for you. You should also submit your petitioner’s most recent U.S. Federal income tax return (Form 1040) and wage statements (Form W-2). Employment letters stating salaries and bank statements may be included to substantiate the I-134. Get the IRS transcript in place of the actual 1040 here: https://www.irs.gov/Individuals/Get-Transcript Use this link to determine the income levels needed https://www.uscis.gov/i-864p.

Q3 - If you are the petitioner then yes will you submit the same items as I have listed above.

Where does your fiancé live?

That's kind of confusing. I think you wanted to say "if you get a case number assigned by Wed this week your file will ship on the 14th". Any day after Wednesday that you get your case number assigned you will more than likely will ship on May 28th or 29th.

If you call to get your case number be sure to ask when it was assigned so you can determine if it ships or not based on IBE2CA explanation. :)
