If I’ve been stuck at “ready to schedule interview” since March 2020 is there anything I can do to inquire as to when the interview might be? Or given that the case is now at my local office are we forced to sit and wait? Now that my extension letter has run out it’s starting to have an impact on job hunting, college applications, etc as I no longer have current ‘proof’ of residency 😢

You can do two things.

Call USCIS 1 (800) 375-5283 and request an infopass so you can get the temporary I-551 stamped in your passport.

Also, fill out the service request online. https://egov.uscis.gov/e-request/Intro.do

Been waiting for an interview since March also, applied to naturalization in April. I got a call back for infopass, since I dont have a current passport I was told to bring 2 passport photos so that they may give me a temporary card. I am thinking about asking if they can just do both my interviews since I am there already lol I know it is a bad idea but I am so tired of waiting. 😣

Ok, guys. Some positive news.

Case was ready for interview since May 27. Got an interview scheduled!!!! On 9th of December the status has changes to We scheduled your interview. Got mail 5 days later. Interview was scheduled on 26 of January, 2021. Spokane, Wa.

I'm so happy. I moved 4 months ago, was worry about them not updating my address correctly, but they did. Such a relief. Wish everyone get positive news soon.

I just checked my USCIS account and noticed a new update which appeared on 14th of December,

U. S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has received your form and is currently processing your application, petition, or request. This notice
informs you that USCIS is able to reuse your previously captured fingerprints and other biometrics. USCIS will run the same security checks and use
your biometric data as in the past, however, it is not necessary for you to appear at a USCIS Application Support Center (ASC) for a biometrics
appointment. The biometrics fee will not be refunded.
USCIS is continuing to process your application, petition, or request. USCIS will contact you in writing if any additional information is necessary to resolve
your case.

My Service Center is showing as "NBC" for my N-400, My ROC I-751 is still pending since March 2019 and since July 2019 its showing "Scheduling your interview" Should I expect something in near future or its just a routine based notice. My local USCIS office is Sacramento, Ca. I would appreciate that if somebody would share his/her knowledge about this notice. Thank you everyone, Good luck and stay strong. We are almost there. Fingers Crossed :)

Hi all! Quick update. Got notification today that my interview is scheduled for my i-751 and also received a letter for my n-400 saying they will reuse my biometrics. I went in for an infopass Dec 20th and got an extension, the officer said I will probably have a combo interview so I hope that happens. I was waiting for an interview since April 2020, applied for i-751 March 2019 and n-400 April 2020.
