  1. Finally I'm done. My oath is scheduled for end of this month. Feels like a heavy burden that had been weighing down on me for years, has finally been lifted.
  2. Finally got notice of interview today for July 29 at Dallas field office. This happened 10 days after USCIS replied to my representative stating they have requested my A file. Applied I-751 on 05/19 and N-400 on 09/20.
  3. Finally got notice of interview today for July 29 at Dallas field office. This happened 10 days after USCIS replied to my representative stating they have requested my A file. Applied I-751 on 05/19 and N-400 on 09/20.
  4. Finally got notice of interview today for July 29 at Dallas field office. This happened 10 days after USCIS replied to my representative stating they have requested my A file. Applied I-751 on 05/19 and N-400 on 09/20.
  5. I feel the same. My case is not complicated, I sent plenty of evidence. Yet they are taking forever. I did reach out to my representative when my N-400 became outside regular processing time. The reply from the Dallas office congressional liaison was to wait 90 business days. That puts me at sometime in Aug when I can inquire through my representative again. This is effing ridiculous.
  6. Anyone still left in this group waiting for their I-751 interview? I'm at 37 months for my I-751 and 21 months for my N-400 application.
  7. yep. did that too. I'm just having extreme bad luck with USCIS
  8. I've tried everything. Went to infopass in December for I-551 stamp and asked the agent why it was taking so long for my N-400. She tried to schedule me for an interview but wasn't able to and told me to wait for my turn and that I should be getting an interview soon. It's been more than 4 months since that. Submitted outside of regular processing time for my N-400, request was forwarded to Dallas field office. The reply from the field office was the same, wait for your interview Contacted US representative. USCIS replied to wait additional 90 business days. At that time my N-400 would be 4 months outside processing time. Contacted ombudsman - no reply. I really wish there was a way to at least get an answer as to why my case is taking so much longer than anyone else.
  9. Is everyone in this forum done with their I-751? I'm at 34 months of waiting for I-751 and 20 months of N-400. Only option for me now seems like a Writ of Mandamus lawsuit against USCIS.
  10. Yes, I'm still waiting on my I-751 and N-400. My case status is still at "Case Was Received and A Receipt Notice Was Sent"
  11. My case is now outside normal processing time. Already did FOIA back in december with no help. Now I've written to my representative, ombudsman and requested tier 2 callback from uscis. Hoping one of those 3 can get the ball rolling.
  12. I did submit a FOIA and no it didn't help move my case. However, the documents I received from my FOIA request do show status of my N400 saying something along the lines that application cannot be adjudicated pending I-751. As a result I've come to terms that it's gonna take a while for my case to move. I've stopped checking my USCIS account everyday hoping a miracle happens and my interview notice is there.
  13. N-400 mostly. Though I'm sure there must be some in similar situation to us(I-751 and N-400 pending) who got their interview after submitting a FOIA request. Remember to request your entire A-file when you submit the request.
  14. Checkout the N400 may 2020 forum thread for detailed information. In short it's basically for people whose cases are stuck because of their A files being stored in caves and not being accessible due to pandemic. Submitting a FOIA request forces them to retrieve the file. And as a result a lot of people got their interviews scheduled after requesting their A file.
  15. Originally it was Newark, but then I moved to Dallas last year. I didn't get any RFE. It's been in "ready to be scheduled for interview" status since November 2019. My N-400 is 10 days away from being outside normal processing time. Hoping my representative or Senator might be able to help me then
