So all these climate change models that I have used ignoring any impact from the sun are all correct?  You do realize that global warming, or climate change, or whatever the faithful will call it tomorrow is just a political stunt?

Obviously, There is no theory of climate that ignores the sun. If you have bona fides in Science I will step back and let you explain it to us.  Do you have a climate model that explains Ocean Acidification?

Show me a model that actually accurately models the global climate first.  Most of the ones I have seen or used simply use an assumed forcing factor for the sun's activity, or used SWAGs for temperature measurements due to the paucity of actual measurements.  As to ocean acidification, I am completely fine with reducing CO2 levels, but as stated earlier, the biggest impact may be the population, so tell me what we do about that?

Well, I feel different about the accuracy of the models, but I am not qualified to speak to them as a scientist.  

I do admit I had to look up paucity as I have not seen that word in an aeon.

I don't know how it is where you are, but here in SW Florida this week it is feeling like summer.  Saw 90 degrees today, and near that all week so far.  

 

I'm heading to the Keys at the moment so all will be good.  Thank goodness for global warming.

  Been a cold winter here, but I do understand what global mean temperature is. The biggest detriment to these discussions is the number of people who really don't.
